REGIONS

 

Southeast Region
The Southeast Region (formerly Insurance Auditors Association of the Southeast or IAASE) is now officially part of NSIPA. Offering the same great networking opportunities and annual conference, the Southeast Region can now be joined on the NSIPA website with or without a current NSIPA membership. PLUS, employees of corporate members can also sign up individually for this regional membership as well.  

This region includes the following states: AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA.  The dues to join the Southeast Region are just $25. 

West Region

The West Region (formerly Insurance Auditors Association of the West (IAAW)) is now officially part of NSIPA.  The West Region provides valuable resources to commercial insurance auditors within the western part of the country. They are committed to the growth, development, professionalism and education of the insurance premium auditor and the insurance industry.

 

IAACS (Central States Region)

IAACS is a gathering place for Insurance Premium Auditors to share knowledge with a focus on Central United States from Ohio to Kansas and up to Wisconsin.

 

Northeast Region

Interested in networking among those who are in the northeast area of the United States? For a limited time you can now sign up for this regional membership for FREE.  After you sign up, go to the Community section and sign up for the Northeast Forum to network online with others around your area and share what services and/or programs you would like to see happen for this region. 

 

Southwest Region

Interested in networking among those who are in the southwest area of the United States? For a limited time you can now sign up for this regional membership for FREE.  After you sign up, go to the Community section and sign up for the Southwest Forum to network online with others around your area and share what services and/or programs you would like to see happen for this region.

 

CHAPTERS 

 

Ohio Chapter 

NSIPA Ohio Chapter strives to create a forum for the exchange of information, and to contribute to the insurance industry the knowledge and experience of the professional auditor. The Ohio Chapter meets every other month over lunch via TEAMS and invites anyone with a connection to Ohio to attend. You can join the Ohio Chapter with or without a current NSIPA membership. Membership dues to join the Ohio Chapter are just $20 per year.

 

Rocky Mountain Chapter

The Rocky Mountain Chapter (formerly Rocky Mountain Insurance Auditors Association) strives to unite the insurance auditors of the Rocky Mountain area, to promote professional standards, to encourage a better accounting education and training, and to cultivate a spirit of cooperation among its members. Through meetings and other exchanges of information, the Rocky Mountain Chapter seeks to establish consistency and propriety of auditing and classification problems and procedures. Membership in the Rocky Mountain Chapter is $35 per year.

  

THE REGIONS AND NSIPA WERE FOUNDED

1952
The first local auditors association begins in Philadelphia.​


1950s-1960s
Local chapters start popping up all over the USA.​


1967
The first regional auditors association begins with the Insurance Auditors Association of the Southwest.​


1970
Insurance Auditors Association of Southeast and Insurance Auditors Association of West both officially start.​


1973
Insurance Auditors Association of Central States and Northeast Regional Auditors Association start.​


1975
NSIPA is founded.​


2017

Insurance Auditors Association of the Southwest officially becomes a for-profit LLC. 

Northeast Regional Auditors Association officially becomes a for-profit LLC. 


2021

IAASE and the Ohio Chapter join NSIPA as part of its non-profit umbrella. 

2022

Rocky Mountain Insurance Auditors Association (RMIAA) joins NSIPA as part of its non-profit umbrella.
